Lesson 1

• Using www.google.com, you will create a collage of Google images of plants. In the Google search bar type in the question, “What are plants?”. Click on Images at the top. As you're looking through them, think about what we've learned about plants. What do you think plants are? Which pictures show this the best? Those are the pictures you want to select.

• Copy and paste the pictures into a Word document. You can use the documents below. You should have up to 10 images.      Whatareplants.docx

• Then you're going to do this again, this time typing in the question, “What are plants used for?” Again, think about what we learned in class, what do we use plants for? If you do not see the image you want, go back to the Google bar and type in other key words that you are looking for.

• Copy and paste these pictures into another Word document. See below for the document. You should have up to 10 images.           Whatareplantsusedfor.docx

• Print out both pages and put them in your folder.

• Move on to Lesson 2.
