About Me
Hello families!
I am so happy to have your child in my 4th grade class this year. I am looking forward to a great year. This is my 5th year teaching 4th grade. Previously I taught kindergarten, 1st, and 3rd grades before finding my happy home in 4th grade.
I graduated with a BS in Communication from the University of Scranton. I worked in public relations for 8 years before moving back to the area with my daughter and going to East Stroudsburg University for my teaching certificate. I also have a Masters Degree in Instructional Technology from ESU.
I moved to Palmerton in 2016. I live there with my husband, Pete and our kids, Cecelia and Alex, our dog, Bernie, and our Russian tortoise, Sheldon. Some of my hobbies include running, reading, and cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles!

About our class
I work hard to create a welcoming and warm environment for your child. We have a range of learning styles and personalitiles in our class which makes us very special. In order to accommodate that, I have created a variety of lessons and activities.
Hands on science experiments, read alouds, small group reading, ,and math games are just a sample of what I have planned for this year. We will also visit the computer lab 3 times a week to work on skills we've learned in class.
